Family Giving Partnership
Did you know that 100% of your membership fee goes to GSUSA to pay for insurance, and national program development, among other important things? No part of that $15 remains in GSSI! Encourage ALL troop families to support GSSI's local membership and programming by donating to the Family Giving Partnership.  Families who participate by donating at least $10 receive a patch. Pat on the Back
GSSI has so many great volunteers and staff who are generous with their time and talent! A big thank you goes to:

Our amazing Community Partners, who shared information at the Evansville and/or Jasper A.C.T. Kick-off celebrations: Regency Beauty Institute, Evansville Chun Ji Do Academy, Painting with a Twist, Vertical eXcape, USI Professor Jeff Seyler from GS Chemistry Connection, The Evansville Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, International Music Fraternity for Women, Children's Center for Dance Education, Sky Zone Trampoline Park, Evansville Icemen, Evansville Audubon Society, Wesselmans Nature Society, Canvas & Conversation, Mesker Park Zoo, Fired Up!, Angel Mounds State Historic Site, Historic New Harmony, YMCA, River City Ramblers, Little Lambs, SnickerDoodle Kids, GattiTown Evansville, Carrie Rice from Livewell Yoga, Fire Horse Yoga, and Family Roots Nursery.  (from Kara Messersmith, Dir. of Program Development)

Our volunteer outdoor educators, Beth Heil, Jennifer Miller, and Michele Blandford, who facilitated Troop Camp Training this past weekend. "Beth, Michele and Jennifer were outstanding! They have the hearts of teachers and the patience of a saint. A huge thank you for their dedication to Girl Scouts and for sharing their knowledge and expertise. They represent Girl Scouting so well. It wasn't enough that they taught us the material..they actually live what they are teaching. They cared enough to ensure we are also good representatives of Girl Scouts." (From Scott Zoll, Volunteer, and Margaret Dennis, Dir. of Volunteer Resources)

Would you like to give a "Pat-on-the-Back" to a special person who went that extra mile or stepped in to help without being asked? Send an email to Margaret with the name of the volunteer or staff member and how she/he helped out.
