Why do you volunteer? Is it to spend time with your daughter(s)? Maybe you want to make new friends yourself?  Or perhaps leave a legacy?  Whatever your reasons- I want to hear about them!!!
Email a photo or short sentence to [email protected] explaining why you volunteer in GSSI.

Pat on the Back
GSSI has so many great volunteers and staff who are generous with their time and talent! A big thank you goes to:

Our volunteer facilitators for tomorrow's Volunteer Fest,  Jennifer Miller and Mandy Scurry!  Thanks also to our volunteer childcare providers, Lauren Chappell and Shaina Miller.  This event wouldn't be possible without you!
(from Margaret Dennis, Dir. of Volunteer Resources)

Anita Smith, for your willingness to make copies whenever asked.  Copying and binding the Volunteer Essentials, Safety Activity Checkpoints, and Basic Outdoor Skills manuals, especially when you were so busy with other projects, was greatly appreciated.
(from Margaret Dennis, Dir. of Volunteer Resources)

Would you like to give a "Pat-on-the-Back" to a special person who went that extra mile or stepped in to help without being asked? Send an email to Margaret with the name of the volunteer or staff member and how she/he helped out.
