Can it really be over? My, those three jam-packed days of panels, book signings, and programs certainly flew by!
And now Magna cum Murder XIX is banked in our memories.
We'll remember Friday presentations on the Mysteries of the Titanic, P.I. Means Paranormal Investigator, and The Poison Lady.
We'll remember the evening reception sponsored by Speed City, Indiana, Chapter of Sisters in Crime and the viewing of the documentary "The King in the Car Park."
We'll remember Saturday panels on Why PIs Are Still Cool, When Characters Assume a Life of Their Own, Plot vs. Character, and The Golden Age of Mysteries.
We'll remember the insightful interview of Guest of Honor Steve Hamilton by Hank Phillippi Ryan, Continuous Conversations with authors and fans, and all the book signings.
We'll remember Hank Phillippi Ryan's captivating keynote speech at the banquet, followed by the wildly entertaining Gameshow: World's Second Greatest Detective.
We'll remember Sunday's panels on Remembering Elizabeth Peters, The Voice of the Story, and Working on Your First Novel.
And we'll remember (and thank!) Mystery Writers of America - Midwest Chapter who sponsored the very busy Coffee Bar.
And we'll remember everything wonderful about the Columbia Club! And all the hard work from the staff and volunteers!
To help us remember all that was Magna XIX, we've created a Storify page to tell just some of the story of our 2013 festival.
Read it here.
