 Dating back to 1955, Foster's Pharmacy has thrived as an independent pharmacy in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Majority owner Michael Hoar continues to grow the well-known business, which has expanded to locations on the east side of town and in nearby Centerburg. Later this month Hoar will be joining IPC at our Annual Business Meeting at McKesson ideaShare 2013 in Las Vegas. IPC: Do you have any great memories from attending previous IPC Annual Business Meetings and McKesson ideaShare events? Mike: "Before IPC started its own conference the one thing I always looked forward to was the IPC Annual Business Meeting and Reception at McKesson (ideaShare) trade show. One of my fist experiences was attending the 2007 trade show in Boston. IPC always gives away trips and I actually won a prize! I was teasing my fellow pharmacist who was with me that I couldn't really afford to be away for the longer trips, so I might as well win the five-day. Low and behold when the Aruba number got pulled it was mine! At that point I was thinking I didn't really know IPC too much, but I sure liked them a lot!" IPC Stores Bloom with Four Terrific Grand Openings!

 IPC's calendar bloomed in May with Grand Openings galore. On May 2, owner Troy Williams inaugurated his family's fourth location, Axline Pharmacy, in Bloomington, Illinois. Just over a week later, owner Maged Eldabh celebrated Meds N More Pharmacy for the citizens of Marlton, New Jersey. On May 20, the Davis family got on board, as owner Tim Davis welcomed Beaver Falls HealthMart Pharmacy to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Rounding out the month on May 31, Mark Prifogle, President and CEO of Grandview Pharmacy, christened his company's latest pharmacy in Hagerstown, Indiana.
