I love the story in the Old Testament about Moses and the Children of Israel. The book of Exodus recounts how God rescued them from slavery and brought them into the Promised Land, the Land of Canaan. Through a series of miracles God broke the will of the Egyptians, proving that He alone is God and that their false gods were no match for Him.

Summer/Fall Mission Opportunities

Cuba - Interest meeting Sunday, May 31, 12:30 PM - Come find out more about a possible trip to Cuba, then eat lunch at the Student Spaghetti Lunch Fundraiser! 

Belarus - LAST CALL - Visa applications are going in on June 2 for the upcoming ESL mission trip to Belarus, July 3-18.  If you have questions or want to go please contact Bill Paschall or Bob Oxford IMMEDIATELY. (Details are on our website.)

Hungary - There is an opportunity to teach in public schools in Hungary this summer from July 1-12.  This is a new project in conjunction with the International Commission, Jerry and Janice Byrd.  Hungary is experiencing Revival and needs more people interested in telling the lost about Jesus.  

Romania/Serbia - A mission trip to Romania/Serbia in late October/early November is on the drawing board.

Sunday June 21: The Children's Ministry is providing a Family Lunch for campers and their families on Sunday before heading to camp! Plan to attend early worship and join us for lunch at 11 AM after Sunday School. We leave for camp at 12:30!!

Sunday, June 28 is Sunday School Promotion Day

Kids in Pre-K through 12th grade classes  will move up to their grade for the coming school year. Toddlers through 4's will promote based on their birthday or school start date.

This year's event is dedicated to the memory of Steve Fait, and a portion of the registration fee will go to his family. The event will be at Kiowa Creek Sporting Clays, and is $75 per shooter. Payment is due by July 20, 2015.
