Skipper Scoop
| Updates from the RIVA
Skipper Division Supervisor- Jill Bloom
What a successful and fun week!
Monday, the Pre-K boys and girls walked to 5 Star where they trampolined and ran, Tuesday, the Kindergarten parents visited and we showed off as much as we can!
The weather was iffy, we tried our best to get it all in,
But...N15 and N16 are invited back on Wednesday, July 23 at 10 AM to watch us swim (for about 15 minutes)
Wednesday, Kindergarteners boarded buses for Bounce U
Where they bounced, played, and laughed, there was so much to do!
Thursday arrived and it was the Pre-K's turn to show their stuff: Skipper Field, Hidden Treasures and the Pool... it's never enough!
Friday is here - CARNIVAL Day at last!! With rides, slides, cotton candy and games, we all had a BLAST... Who doesn't love a carnival? So much to play... The Skippers say "Thanks Rolling River, for an awesome Carnival Day!!!" We can't leave out our youngest campers: N1, N2, and N3 Can't wait to see our parents on Tuesday, there's so much for you to see! They've been busy preparing, practicing, and having fun Cause they know RRDC is # 1!!! The Skippers have been busy and having a great time. Our laughter can be heard all over camp. We enjoyed visiting with you this week and look forward to "sea"-ing more of you next week as we wrap up Skipper Visiting Days 2014. If you were not able to attend your child's scheduled visiting time, please email me to set up a time for you to watch them swim.

Contact: fran.rollingriver@gmail.com Below is letter from one of our excited first-time Rolling River campers to his friend from school!
Dear Kenny:
I am so happy that my parents sent me to Rolling River this summer. This has been such an awesome week (even though it rained). Everyone in the Mariner Division participated in so many activities. On Tuesday, all the first graders traveled to Fun Station, where we played games and went on amazing rides! On Wednesday, the third graders went to 5 Star Sports Academy to practice somersaults and leaps and bounce around. On Thursday, the second graders went to Active Kids to jump and climb. They had a great time. On Friday the whole camp participated in an amazing carnival! The camp was filled with rides and water slides. As a treat, we got to eat cotton candy and Kona Shaved Ice, too. My favorite event this week was Visiting Night. I loved having my parents come see me play and meet my new friends I hope you are enjoying your summer, too. I can't wait to keep sharing my stories of camp with you.
Keep Cool, Timothy Mariner Boy
