Updates from the RIVA
Mariner Division Supervisor- Fran Oosterom
Assistant Supervisor - Lonny Dugger
Spirit Week began with a masquerade that thrilled us all.
Praise to all the groups who have been working diligently on their songs and plaques.
Individual and group pictures gave us something to "smile" about.
Rollerskating was a blast on Tie-Dye Tuesday. If fun is the object of the game, Laser Bounce and Active Kids made our days.
Together in the hockey rink, we played our version of "The Price is Right."
Working as a team helps us be as strong as we are.
Elsa from Disney's Frozen performed a memorable rendition of "Let It Go" and "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?"
Every Friday gives us an opportunity to thank our Big Fish and our Catch of the Week.
Kindness to others is something we demonstrate, not only during Spirit Week, but every week, and all year round.

Updates from the RIVA
Navigator Division Supervisor- Anthony Bruno
The Navigators had a great second week down at the Riva! Spirit Week is one of the most exciting weeks at camp. We started off with "Masquerade Monday" and ended with our annual Song and Plaque day. All of the groups did an amazing job performing their group songs and showing off their 2014 plaques. Good work, everyone! Navigators began preparing for our show, a musical revue of terrific songs everyone is sure to enjoy. We can't wait to perform it for you! Intramurals continued this week, and the Navigators also took a turn around the rink showing off their hockey skills. Wednesday brought the return of an amazing 1990's tradition: Watermelon League! 30 Navigators stayed after camp to learn flag football skills, run drills, and even play in some practice games. We ended the amazing day with a refreshing watermelon treat.
Our trips this week were definitely a hit. On Tuesday, the entire division went to Mountain Creek for a day of fun in the sun on all of the water rides. On Wednesday, our 7th and 8th graders cooled off with ice skating. On Thursday, the 5th graders loved the rides at Adventureland, and off to the beach went the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to catch some rays and waves.
We look forward to all the action and excitement next week will bring! "Sea" you Monday.
