CAMPAIGN REPORT MEETING | JANUARY 7, 2015

$1,674,671 – 80% of Goal!
($434,531 Remaining)

“Monadnock United Way, as an organization will continue to adapt and remain flexible, while building on its 60-plus years of serving the community.”

John Round started the meeting off with some positive news. Since the last Report Meeting three weeks ago, the campaign saw a nice increase of $182,828! John stated, “We are seeing some positive results, especially from many of the smaller and mid-sized businesses, plus the Leadership Givers, but not enough to make up for some of the losses in other areas.”

Following the Division Reports, John announced the campaign has raised $1,674,671, or 80% of the goal. That means $431,563 still needs to be raised in order to reach the goal. John reminded everyone that there is much more to do in order to reach this year’s goal and meet the needs of the community—“It’s going to take a lot of work, we will have to develop new relationships, cultivate existing relationships, and capitalize on every opportunity in order to get to $2,106,234.”

The money that Monadnock United Way raises, goes out to the 26 agencies and their 49 programs so they can provide the services that meet the needs of their clients. If the goal isn't reached, many of these agencies and their programs will be negatively impacted. John added, “Monadnock United Way continues to be optimistic because we understand and take seriously our responsibility to our partner agencies, their programs, and more importantly, the people they serve.”
