Thank you to all of the members that attended the February 8 event with Governor Rauner at the Westin.  There was a standing room only crowd of about 300 people in attendance, with Lombard Chamber being well represented. There were attendees from other chambers and the surrounding community, as well as many local elected officials. The Lombard Chamber was very honored to have been asked to plan this event, and we would like to thank the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center for their generosity in hosting us there. We received an informative presentation that included introductions from State Representative Peter Breen, Senator Chris Nybo, US. Senator Peter Roskam and Lieutenant Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti, as well as Governor Rauner with his plan for reform.   There were also a number of news outlets represented including WGN, CBS, Fox 32, Lombardian, Suburban Life News, Chicago Sun-Times and the Daily Herald.  Lombard Chamber Board President Whitney Cimaglia did our chamber proud with her welcome and introduction.  See pictures from this event on our Facebook Page, and in a link in the newsletter below.
