More recently, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the prescription product NarcanŽ (naloxone) Nasal Spray for administration into the person's nostril upon recognizing the signs and symptoms of opioid overdose. Each package contains two, single-dose, pre-filled intranasal spray bottles, and the AWP is $150 per package.
