Downers Grove, IL - February 15, 2016 - Coventry is pleased to announce the nomination of one of its nurse case managers as a finalist for the DecisionHealth® Case In Point Platinum Award. Mark Rodgers, RN, CCM was selected as a finalist for his outstanding achievements in catastrophic workers' compensation case management.
The Platinum Awards recognize professionals that have demonstrated success in the overarching health care continuum, and honors programs that best educate and empower patients, improve adherence and wellness, manage quality care and contain health care costs. On May 12th finalists will be honored at the 7th Annual Case In Point Platinum Awards luncheon to celebrate their collective success and announce the winners in each category.
Mark Rodgers has 29 years of nursing experience, and has been a Field Case Manager with Coventry for the past eight years. Mark was nominated because he is admired by his managers for excellent communication and customer service, is esteemed by his peers for his willingness to act as a mentor, and his clinical expertise, and is applauded by payors for his proactive approach to return-to-work.
