We contract directly with DME and ancillary services providers in addition to utilizing our existing Coventry network provider contracts.
DMEplus providers are credentialed through an extensive application process including certifications, licenses, insurances, and accreditations. They must be approved by Coventry and re-credentialed annually.
DMEplus works directly with its customers to ensure their programs have appropriate coverage and can be customized for additional coverage or product needs and service standards to meet delivery expectations for injured workers.
We also make it easy to access our network providers through a variety of referral paths all leading to our dedicated DMEplus team who can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our representatives are trained to answer questions to help you and your injured workers determine the best network provider for the job. Upon receiving a referral, we obtain the necessary information to properly identify the products or services ordered by the referral source. We contact the appropriate network provider for you to supply the requested products or services and we complete the referral.
While we believe our extensive network for durable medical equipment and ancillary services will provide coverage that meets your needs, we also have a dedicated DMEplus provider network team that is constantly evaluating and enhancing the strength and breadth of our provider network. Through these recruitment efforts, DMEplus works with new providers, our clients, and their vendors to contract with new preferred providers that are not currently in our network.
