We're Packing Suitcases - The Power To Save Lives

WE CARE Solar designs portable, Solar Suitcases that power critical lighting, mobile communication and medical devices in low resource areas without reliable electricity.

Solar Suitcases provide light and power for midwives and doctors to deliver babies, conduct c-sections, treat pregnancy complications, and care for newborn babies in 25 countries. For many mothers and babies, that light may mean life.

We are asking every Island Girl to bring $2 to race kit pick up or the race to help build a Solar Suitcase.

Each Solar Suitcase with accessories costs $1,500. With your help we will collect and donate the $1,500 required to build a new solar suitcase. In 2014 Island Girls helped build a Solar Suitcase for a program called Light Up Hadiya in Ethiopia.
