The start of the 2015 season is just over 3 months away and with the winter we've had in Eastern Canada and the early spring in Western Canada we know everyone is looking forward to TRi KiDS racing!
The trend of races selling out quickly continues this year and we encourage you register now to avoid disappointment. TRi KiDS Burnaby, Okanagan, Oakville and Burlington are already over 50% sold out. Once your athletes are registered it's time to think about fundraising. We are delighted to have our charitable partners back this season with Springfree Trampoline donating two backyard trampolines to two lucky draw winners. To be eligible, TRi KiDS are required to raise a minimum of $40 for one of our partners.

Here are a few more events to mark on your calendar. Family fun, active living and enjoying the great outdoors - we hope to see you there!
 Kids Tri 4 Kids, proudly presented by ScotiaMcLeod will be held on Sunday, May 24th at Carling Heights Community Centre in London, Ontario. The 5th annual youth triathlon welcomes 3-13 year olds and benefits Big Brothers, Big Sisters London. Last year's event sold out early - register today.
The 11th annual Cadillac Fairview 5K Run/Walk takes place on Sunday, April 26th at a new venue - Shops at Don Mills. The CF5K and CF Kids 1K supports POGO and Sick Kids. Register today at www.cadillacfairviewrun.ca.
Aloha! We end our race season with our tropical themed Island Girl Half Marathon, Relay and 5K race on September 20th. The 'tropical' Toronto Islands set the stage for our women's only race. Leis, grass skirts, a live steel drum band and coconut water await you. Grab your sister, friend, mom or running partner, lace up your sandals and join us on the Island. An annual sell out!

Fundraising and TRi KiDS
Fundraising has always been a big part of the SunRype TRi KiDS Triathlon Series and TRi KiDS have raised over $103,000 for our charitable partners in 6 years.
This season TRi KiDS will once again partner with the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO), BC Childrens' Hospital and Autism Speaks Canada.
TRi KiDS athletes can fundraise for these charities by setting up an online fundraising page or printing off a pledge form and asking family and friends to sponsor your race. Athletes who raise a minimum of $40 for any of our three charities will be entered in the season-ending draw for one of two Springfree Trampolines. Please visit our Charities page for information and links to get you started.
We will feature one of the charities in our newsletters and are pleased to share a bit about POGO below.
 There are over 4,000 kids in Ontario with cancer. Throughout their journey with cancer, families rely on POGO to
provide care, support and financial assistance.
To see the story of one child's journey, click the picture of Sara Jean Forwell. She is only seven years old and has been through cancer treatment twice. Help support families like Sara Jean's by choosing to fundraise for POGO in 2015.

Interactive TRi KiDS Race Maps
Each year we improve upon the positive experience we work hard to
create at TRi KiDS. This year we are introducing a mobile friendly interactive course map for each location.
The map will be very helpful on race day for parents and spectators as you move around to cheer on your athlete. Location of parking, washrooms and information are a few of the features. Hover over each icon and then click on it for details.
