SUMMER READING IS ALMOST OVER
Last day for reading logs is August 8!

July is over and August is here, which means there are only eight more days to log your summer reading! We want to thank all of you who participated in this year's Summer Reading Program and wish you the best of luck in winning your prize selection. Prize winners will be notified on Wednesday, August 12.

EVERY HERO HAS A STORY: YOUTH SRP THEME
CHILDREN NEWBORN - 11 YEARS!
Reading entries will be accepted through August 8. Each child may turn in 5 prize entry slips per week at either Central or Fairmont. Parent must sign each prize entry.

ESCAPE THE ORDINARY!: ADULT SRP THEME
Be your own hero and Escape the Ordinary at the Pasadena Public Library this summer! Whether you are modeling good reading habits or sharing your love of reading, adults can participate in Summer Reading and win prizes too! Prize Entry Slips will be accepted after through Saturday, August 8. Call either location for details!    
August is Read-A-Romance Month!

Hey romance fans, this month is the fourth annual Read-A-Romance Month! Every day, dive into amazing works in our collection by awesome authors such as: Lisa Kleypas, Carla Neggers, Susan Mallery, Lauren Willig, Kim Kincaid, Megan Mulry, and Huntley Fitzpatrick. 

Read-A-Romance Month was created so romance fans around the world could celebrate romance books and the romance genre. It was launched in August 2013 by Bobbi Dumas, an advocate for the romance genre and a freelance writer for NPR and Kirkus.
