Summer Reading is Here!
Stop by for an awesome Summer Reading Program!
Greetings!

Whether you are an adult, teen or kid, we have a summer reading program for you! Registration and participation are both free, no library card required. Once you get registered in our program, start reading! The more books you read every week, the better chance you have at winning one of our grand prizes.
This year we're giving away Kindles, Blu-Ray players, skateboards, Yugioh card baskets, a guitar, Amiibos, a Star Wars Pinball Machine, and more! For more details, be sure to contact the nearest  librarian!

Even if you don't register with the Summer Reading Program, you can always enjoy our free events, and you don't even have to be a library-card holder! Coming up, we have spectacular puppet shows from professionals like Puppet Pizzazz and Rumpelstiltskin, science programs like Junior Explorer Night, the Zoo Mobile, and The Lunar Planetary Institute, even a Bully Defense Class, and more! We will also be introducing International Story Time and Saturday Kid's Blast. The Teens will be introduced to delicious cooking classes at Fairmont sponsored by the Houston Food Bank, and will be given lessons at both locations for film-making and comic book creating from local artists and filmmakers. And to top it off, every week at both locations, we will be showing super-hero movies every Friday or Saturday. Don't miss it!

Calendarios, folletos e informacin adicional estn disponibles en Espaol en la Biblioteca Central, la Sucursal Fairmont y en nuestra pgina web!
