"Successfully Build Productive Teams"
Please join the ASQLA Section 0700 for its monthly member meeting on Wednesday, November 13th. The meeting will be at Phenomenex in Torrance. This meeting is an opportunity to network with other Quality professionals and to learn about current techniques & technologies. Our guest speakers this month is Rosemarie Christopher speaking on "Successfully Build Productive Teams." Whether you are building a new team or simply adding new members to an already existing team, choosing the right people is of the upmost importance. Personalities matter as much as technical skills. Rosemarie Christopher is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) with a MA in Communication Management and the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) with a BA in Anthropology. As the President & CEO of MEIRxRS, a family of companies that recruit and staff technical and scientific STEM professionals, Rosemarie has over 25 years of experience in employment, on the job training and retention of multigenerational workforce. Rosemarie holds board member positions in various quality and regulatory organizations such as the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Food, Drug and Cosmetic (FDC) as Division Chair, National Discussion Group Chair, Region 7 Deputy Regional Director and Section Career Development and Education Chair; the USC School of Pharmacy as a member of the Board of Councilors and Executive Committee Chair of the Life Sciences Council; the Orange County Regulatory Science Discussion Group as a Board Member. The program will be held at 2nd Floor Main Conference Room at Phenomenex 2341 West 205th Street Torrance, CA 90501. This meeting is an opportunity to network with other Quality Professionals, learn about quality related topics and earn 0.3 Recertification Units. Registration and networking starts at 5:30 PM. The meeting runs from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Crackers, Cookies, Coffee & Water will be provided at no charge.

Students are responsible for registering for the ASQ Exam prior to the application deadline. ASQ Exam Registration Fees are in addition to the class fess and are paid directly to ASQ. Classes without a minimum of five (5) students will be cancelled.
Students must purchase their own Primers from the Quality Council of Indiana at 1-800-660-4215 or www.quaitycouncil.com. Bring Primer to the first class. Students preparing for CQE and/or CSSBB should purchase a Texas Instruments TI-30XA.
Classes will be conducted at Phenomenex, Inc. The specific building is located at 2341 West 205th Street, Torrance, CA90501
