Crit�rium du Dauphin� - June 2015.  The Crit�rium du Dauphin� (UCI World Tour Stage Race) is being staged during June,. (June 7 - 14).
Luckily it is once again visiting the Roannais region, and our home-base, Perreux. Starting in Roanne and finishing in Marcigny.
We'll be watching it as it finishes this 3rd stage of a great precursor race to the Tour de France later this year. 
Crit�rium du Dauphin� _______________________________________________________________ Women's Roannais International Basketball Competition
- Great Britain v France.  During this May a series of women's international basketball competitions were held in the Rh�ne-Alpes. And Roanne, in the Roannais, hosted Serbia versus Slovakia and Great Britain versus France at the Halle Vacheresse, home to the famous Men's Roanne Chorale Basketball Team. The Mus�e de Louvre -Lens, less than 2 hours drive from Calais is an amazing architectural building with a continuing rotation of artworks and special themed exhibitions. Spring comes again to Le Cuvage!
'Le Cuvage' was originally a very large winemaking 'barn' which serviced the household of the Ch�teau des Cresses.
This 18th century building has been carefully renovated and converted into three large and magnificent, high quality homes - all architecturally designed by a highly regarded and successful local French Architect who specialised in the renovation of ancient buildings and ch�teau interiors in the Roannaise region.

Le Val Lachard: Breathtaking for Winter Ski and Summer Holidays!
A visit to Villard-de-Lans in early March this year for a few days skiing at the local ski resort, revealed an absolute gem.
