From Pastor Dale:
"Having structures in place that facilitate ministry is important to the future ministry of any church. With the appropriate structures comes the opportunity to replicate the core vision and purpose into tangible results. Leadership is provided to ensure that the outcomes align with the vision. Also, the responsibilities are clearly defined. That in and of itself, helps to set boundaries and accountability.
There are many lay persons in Mason United Methodist Church who give countless hours to the successful implementation of our ministry. So many tasks that are important to the outcome are handled by a number of you who give of your talent. You are willing to use your spiritual gifts in a variety of ways."

| Ministry of Compassion | | |
You will note in this week's prayer list a new category for those who are serving in the military and their families. If you know someone to add, please let Pastor Lisa know. We are glad to pray for those in any branch of the armed services.
In addition to prayer support, there is much we could do to offer compassion for our soldiers and their families. If you would be interested in leading or helping with such ministry, see Pastor Lisa as well.
|
| Nursery Update | | |
We are very glad that Lynn Kato has accepted the position of Nursery Attendant, effective immediately. Lynn fills a vacancy created by the request of Chelsea Musick to be moved to our sub list. Lynn has served as a nursery sub and knows our children and policies. Her gentle spirit surround our littlest ones with love and their parents with confidence.
Most often, then, on Sunday mornings you will see the compassion of Lynn and Margaret Sanders in action in our nursery. We are thankful that we can also count on Chelsea and our other substitutes to fill in for them, as needed.
