APPS Certifications

The March release targeting specific User improvements in APPS for e2530 submissions, added several nice attributes and a few glitches.

HUD cleaned up the Certification language to more closely match its intent regarding individual certifications. They also added clarifying instructions regarding the handling of e-signed 2530s and uploads.

Unfortunately, several functions are experiencing glitches. The Upload Submission Package function is disabled and the function allowing one to cross-certify under Participant Processing does not contain the correct Certification language.

The good news is these functions are not mandatory to completing an e2530 submission in APPS (just nice perks that we really like). The other good news is that HUD will be fixing these with a release on April 10th.

Tip of the Month - uploading APPS Submission Packages

Did you know?

HUD staff have been advised by PPSD to accept an emailed pdf of the signed 2530 Submission Package from APPS in lieu of uploading it in APPS.

This directive will be in place until the Upload Submission Package function is repaired, which is expected to be April 10th.

For any e2530 Organization Change submission, it is critical that you email a pdf of the signed package to the appropriate PPSD contact at Headquarters, as that is where Org Changes are processed. You may find contact names here.
