APPS Tip of the Month - Requirements

Did you know?  APPS is required for HUD 2530 submissions under RAD, the LIHTC Pilot and Healthcare programs.

Additionally, for programs that still accept paper 2530's, you will find a requirement for an APPS registration and baseline at closing.  Be prepared!

2530 Tip of the Month - Stay up to date

Did you know?  HUD's policy is to verify that a property's 2530 is up to date as part of their due diligence when processing a Rent Increase.

Any change to partners in a Limited Partnership, members or managing members in an LLC, and officers or directors in a Corporation are required to be reported to HUD to obtain 2530 clearance.

Stay on top of this requirement over the years, so that you are not caught unaware when HUD is processing a Rent Increase.

Murphy Consulting offers HUD 2530 & APPS for large and small organizations around the country.  Call us today for a price quote to see if this resource is right for you.

REAC Tip of the Month - Photos

Did you know?  Beginning in 2015, photo documentation is required for all Level 3 Deficiencies identified during a REAC Physical Inspection.

In cases where owners and agents do not agree with the Inspector on a certain Level 3 Deficiency, we anticipate this will assist in the appeal process.  But if you wish to appeal, do not rely on the Inspector's photo alone.  Take photos yourself - from every angle.

(See REAC Resources below for appeal criteria.)

Contact Murphy Consulting for referrals to qualified REAC inspection and appeal resources.  Being prepared is your best defense.
