APPS & REAC during the Government Shutdown

We know what the Government shutdown means for its employees - no pay checks.   For those of us involved in HUD transactions from the private sector side, expectations about on-going operations and new transactions are unclear.

Here are a few Can's and Can'ts relating to the HUD Secure System which should help you over the next stretch.

What you CAN do:
  • Run EIV Reports
  • Process TRACS payments
  • Submit e-2530's in APPS
  • Submit AFS in FASSUB
  • Set up new Users in WASS
  • Register entities under BPRS

What you CAN'T do:
  • Receive new Coordinator ID Letters
  • Receive new HUD Access Key Letters
  • Process Manual Activations or ID Upgrades with REAC TAC
  • Receive HUD 2530 approvals
  • Have a REAC Physical Inspection
  • Retrieve Inspection Reports from last week's REAC Inspections
  • Speak to the REAC TAC Help Desk
We at Murphy Consulting hope that wise decisions for our nation will be made quickly so that our colleagues at HUD can return to work soon.
