Difficulties receiving REAC Inspection Reports |
With implementation of the new 4.0 inspection software, come changes in locating REAC Inspection Reports in PASS and glitches in locating REAC scores in APPS.
Changes - Coordinators in the HUD Secure System will have to add a new role to their ID and re-assign rights to view their property's REAC inspection reports. Then, they will have to retrieve reports with a new link in PASS. Details on these changes can be found below in REAC Tip of the Month.
Glitches - Coordinators working in APPS no longer have access to retrieved REAC scores on properties inspected with the new 4.0 software. The APPS staff are aware of this problem and are working with REAC on a fix. We will let you know once HUD releases a timeline for this correction. How should you handle this in the meantime? See our APPS Tip of the Month below.

Did you know?
Coordinators must assign themselves the IMM role (Inspection Management MF - Coordinator) in User Maintenance and then connect that role to the Property in Property Assignment Maintenance before they can view any REAC Inspection Reports in PASS that were performed with the new 4.0 software.
Once in PASS, you must go to "PASS - New System" and then to MF Inspections to search for your 2013 REAC Inspection Report. Prior year inspections and those done with the 2.3 version of the inspection software, can still be found under the link "Physical Inspections" from the PASS Main Menu.

APPS Tip of the Month |
Did you know?
APPS cannot retrieve REAC inspection scores under the new 4.0 software, but they are working with REAC to correct that.
If you are updating your Previous Participation in APPS, you will need to be extra vigilant until HUD works this out. REAC inspection scores for 2013 should be manually entered into APPS by Coordinators until the "retrieved scores" function is modified by HUD to pull in the most recent REAC scores.
