Staying in the loop on newly released HUD Notices is an important step to maintaining regulatory compliance. Several key notices and announcements were released this Spring:
- Housing Notice H 2013-06 Enterprise Income Verification - updated instructions for utilizing EIV
- Housing Notice H 2013-16 Exemption of Annual Financial Statement Submissions for HUD Assisted Properties with Section 515 Rural Rental Housing Mortgage Insurance
- PBCA NOFA Status Update - HUD plans to announce selection of PBCA's in August
- APPS Changes to Key Principals and Revocable Trust processing
HUD Notices are available on HUD Clips. Some announcements can be found at hud.gov or at WASS subsystem sites. Other information is available only through APPS & REAC News and Notes. Be sure to identify your best resources and stay on top of HUD announcements and changes.

Did you know?
Industry Users and Coordinators can now create baselines in APPS without entering an individual principal. Unfortunately, there is a glitch in the processing, so you are unable to do an actual e-2530 Submission without an individual principal.
HUD plans to correct this in the October release. Stay tuned here for notice of this update.

| REAC Inspection - Tip of the Month |

Did you know?
You cannot store anything wet or flammable in the same room with the electrical panel. This includes a damp mop in a bucket or a "practically empty" gas can, even if it is tightly sealed and across the room.
As some have learned the hard way, small oversights can cause large point losses during a REAC Inspection. There are many great training programs to help you conduct your own inspection prior to the REAC. Locate resources to help you succeed!

Owners, Management Agents and Non-Profits may schedule an individualized webinar or in-person training program for their company.
Professional Organizations may arrange for a presentation at their Conference or Annual Meeting.
