Mrs. Wolski on her 100th birthday with her great-grandchild
wolskiRemembering Mrs. Wolski, our beloved 101-year-old client

We were saddened when one of our long-term clients, Alice Wolski, passed away on August 4th. Mrs. Wolski had turned 101 this past May. In her obituary, the family expressed "grateful appreciation for the loving care provided to Alice from Visiting Angels, especially from Nana and Amelia." It was a privilege and an honor to have been a part of Mrs. Wolski's life!

soarAppreciating Angels Who Soar

We are so proud of our wonderful, hard-working Angel employees who go beyond the call of duty. Here are just a few of the reasons our Angels are so special...

Hawa, a fill-in aide on a live-in assignment, agreed to stay an extra 24 hours when the regular aide had a personal matter and couldn't return as scheduled.

Thaera cut her vacation short by almost a full day so that a fill-in aide who was covering for her could accept another assignment.

Even though Judy works overnight shifts for a client, twice this past month she has been willing to readjust her free time during the day in order to accommodate the client's need for extra care.

Thank You, Angels!

A client's praise of her mother's care:

"My mother had a wonderful aide from Visiting Angels for a year and a half. My mother really liked her because they got along very well. Whenever I needed to change the schedule because of my work, they [the office staff] worked it all out. They were also there when I needed to add extra hours. I was very happy with Visiting Angels."

AboutOurCareAbout Our Care

Visiting Angels is a New Jersey-licensed, non-medical home care company committed to going well beyond the "industry standard" to provide an exceptional level of security, comfort and peace of mind to our clients and their loved ones. Our "Angels", all certified home health professionals, are ready to provide compassionate and dependable assistance with the activities of everyday living to seniors, the disabled, those recovering from surgery and to those who are simply frail. Our services include such simple tasks as light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands and shopping to more personal tasks such as hygiene assistance, bathing, dressing and grooming.

Visiting Angels' in-home care helps make it possible for seniors and other adults to continue to live at home and maintain the independence of their daily routines and familiar surroundings, safely. We truly understand how challenging and alien the entire home care selection process can be...and we are experienced in working with families; with loved ones "resistant" to receiving care; and with third-parties payors (such as insurance companies and the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs) to help insure that the best interests of the family and their loved ones are met.

Visiting Angels' services help families spend more mutually-rewarding and meaningful time with their loved ones and also helps provide comfort and peace of mind to those who face the challenge of long-distance caregiving.
