New Wine Variety
Smile

California vintners in the Napa Valley area--which primarily produces Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Pino Grigio wines--have developed a new hybrid grape that acts as an anti-diuretic. It is expected to reduce the number of trips older people have to make to the bathroom during the night. The new wine is marketed as...

Pino More.

Happy Thanksgiving
from Visiting Angels!

November 2014

November is a time to count our many blessings. As Charles Dickins said, "Reflect upon your present blessings, of which every man has plenty; not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some."

This month is also a time to thank our readers. Whether you're one of our valued clients/family of a client, one of our hard-working Angels, one of our loyal referral sources, or are a good friend of Visiting Angels--we're thankful for YOU!

We are eager to hear your comments and suggestions about this or any issue of "Home Care News by Angels." Please email us at info@njseniorcare.com or write on our Facebook page.

clientsWe're Delighted to Hear from Families About Our Exceptional Care!

A daughter's praise of her mother's care through our Veterans Program:

"Visiting Angels has been very instrumental and informative about the Veteran's Benefits to which my mother was entitled and that I knew nothing about; I am very grateful for that. My initial meeting with Visiting Angels was with Rudy. He was very informative and helpful in explaining what I needed to do. We were assigned a home health aide by the name of Darlene. She is just excellent and perfect for my mother. She can make my mother do things that she will never do when I ask. I have to say they made the right choice in assigning an aide for my mother as my mother is not an easy person. She is resistant and stubborn, but Visiting Angels found the perfect aide for her!"

AboutOurCareAbout Our Care

Visiting Angels is a New Jersey-licensed, non-medical home care company committed to going well beyond the "industry standard" to provide an exceptional level of security, comfort and peace of mind to our clients and their loved ones. Our "Angels", all certified home health professionals, are ready to provide compassionate and dependable assistance with the activities of everyday living to seniors, the disabled, those recovering from surgery and to those who are simply frail. Our services include such simple tasks as light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands and shopping to more personal tasks such as hygiene assistance, bathing, dressing and grooming.

Visiting Angels' in-home care helps make it possible for seniors and other adults to continue to live at home and maintain the independence of their daily routines and familiar surroundings, safely. We truly understand how challenging and alien the entire home care selection process can be...and we are experienced in working with families; with loved ones "resistant" to receiving care; and with third-parties payors (such as insurance companies and the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs) to help insure that the best interests of the family and their loved ones are met.

Visiting Angels' services help families spend more mutually-rewarding and meaningful time with their loved ones and also helps provide comfort and peace of mind to those who face the challenge of long-distance caregiving.
