A Well-Planned Life:
Two older women met for the first time since graduating from high school. One asked the other, "You were always so organized in school, did you manage to live a well-planned life? " "Yes," said her friend. "My first marriage was to a millionaire; my second marriage was to an actor; my third marriage was to a preacher; and now I'm married to an undertaker." Her friend asked, "What do those marriages have to do with a well-planned life?" "One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go!"

Our Gadget Corner features unique products which have extra benefits for the NJ senior care population.*
Pocket Hose
Make your life easier this summer with the Pocket Hose. No more lugging heavy rubber hoses around the yard or garden. When the water is turned off, the hose shrinks back down to a small size. Visit www,asseenontv.com for more information. Ergonomic Weed Eliminator This lightweight Weed Eliminator attacks weeds between crevices. The ergonomic shape helps prevent strain. Attach it to a broom handle to prevent back strain.

What's Happening at Visiting Angels
OFFICE NEWSWe were thrilled when the family of a senior we cared for recently sent a gorgeous bouquet of flowers to our office in appreciation for our services, but even more thrilled to learn we'll be receiving one bouquet of flowers for each month of our services! COMMUNITY OUTREACHEach month, Managing Director and Co-Owner, Rudy Tervooren goes out in the community visiting referral sources and attending client meetings.
Rudy also frequently gives presentations at senior centers, churches, and in offices throughout Mercer and Burlington counties in New Jersey. He's passionate about sharing how our exceptional State-certified aides can help seniors with all their daily living needs, making it possible for them to continue living at home safely and less expensively than in a facility. If you would like to schedule an elder care presentation with Rudy, please call him at 609-883-8188 or email him at rudy@njseniorcare.com.
VISITING ANGELS' CARE MANAGEMENT TEAM
Behind the scenes, Nora de Cárdenas, Visiting Angel's Co-Owner, leads the Company's "Care Management Team"...a group of professionals exclusively devoted to ensuring that Visiting Angels' home health care is "Exceptional" Every Single Day. Care Team members work together closely to select which aide(s) would be the "best fit" for each individual client; supervise all "Angels" and act swiftly when a fill-in aide is suddenly needed; advise and respond to families' changing care needs; and train licensed home care aides on how to step-up their usual care standards, by quite a few notches, to meet Visiting Angels' much higher "Standard of Excellence".

About Our CareVisiting Angels is a New Jersey-licensed, non-medical home care company committed to going well beyond the "industry standard" to provide an exceptional level of security, comfort and peace of mind to our clients and their loved ones. Our "Angels", all certified home health professionals, are ready to provide compassionate and dependable assistance with the activities of everyday living to seniors, the disabled, those recovering from surgery and to those who are simply frail. Our services include such simple tasks as light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands and shopping to more personal tasks such as hygiene assistance, bathing, dressing and grooming. Visiting Angels' in-home care helps make it possible for seniors and other adults to continue to live at home and maintain the independence of their daily routines and familiar surroundings, safely. We truly understand how challenging and alien the entire home care selection process can be...and we are experienced in working with families; with loved ones "resistant" to receiving care; and with third-parties payors (such as insurance companies and the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs) to help insure that the best interests of the family and their loved ones are met. Visiting Angels' services help families spend more mutually-rewarding and meaningful time with their loved ones and also helps provide comfort and peace of mind to those who face the challenge of long-distance caregiving.
