Ultra Series Tilt-Turn Windows
Kolbe exhibited its new Ultra Series tilt-turn window at the 2013 International Builders' Show. The unique American flush-to-frame design with European functionality was a big hit.
Ultra Series tilt-turn windows are very versatile, offering a variety of operational options to customize the unit for specific applications. Units are produced tilt-before-turn as standard, with options for turn-before-tilt, turn-only (inswing), tilt-only, and hopper (venting with opening at the top) operation. Transoms, pictures and direct set units are available to match.

Updates for Revit and SketchUp 3D Models
Three dimensional models offer great flexibility for design professionals. Kolbe's extensive library of both Revit® and SketchUp models provides the ability to view products from different perspectives, incorporate product options and customize the models for your specific projects.
Revit Update
We recently added BIM models for the Ultra Series crank-out XL awning product. Models have also been developed for the Ultra Series tilt-turn windows, specifically the tilt-turn and hopper versions.
SketchUp Update
Numerous 3D models have been developed and released including the TerraSpan® lift & slide door, folding windows and doors, crank-out XL awning, beveled direct set, tilt-turn, and hopper windows. All of these models are 'dynamic,' allowing them to be manipulated to reconfigure the height, width, number of panels and other product attributes to fit your project needs.

New 3-Wide Garden-Aire Sliding Patio Doors
As Kolbe continues to provide products to architects, designers and homeowners with large viewing areas and expansive passages to the outdoors, we recently introduced a new option for our Ultra and Heritage Series Garden-Aire sliding patio doors. The 3-wide AFA (Active-Fixed-Active) configuration provides three panels within one frame. The fixed center panel is large enough to accommodate the two operating panels, allowing them both to be completely opened to the center of the unit at one time.
This product offers all of the features currently available for other Ultra and Heritage Series Garden-Aire doors. Unit widths include 9'-6", 11'-6" and 15'-6" in standard heights; custom sizes may be requested.
