New Folding Window 3D Models Available |
To complement our popular folding doors, Kolbe has added folding windows to its extensive product offering. Available in the Ultra and Heritage Series, Folding Windows can span over 50 feet wide and panels can be as tall as 72 inches.
Revit and Sketchup models of the folding windows have been added to Kolbe's Architect Library. The models complement our collection of more than 3,000 window and doors models and building information modeling (BIM) tools. Both models feature: |
- Editable width, height, wall offset and number of panels (2-16)
- Over 30 exterior colors to choose from
- Many interior wood species and stain colors available
- Weep sill
- Basic jamb of 6-9/16"
- Models are detailed and easy to use

Ultra Folding Windows |
|
Kolbe has received a Product Innovation Award (PIA) from Architectural Products Magazine for its Ultra folding windows. The PIA recognizes products, materials and systems innovations that lead commercial and institutional design to new heights.
Products and systems are evaluated by a panel of 50 independent industry professionals. Manufacturers are awarded based on attributes, qualities, functionality and/or performance beyond industry standards.
Kolbe will be featured in the November 2012 issue of Architectural Products Magazine, as well as online. |

Extending an Open Invitation |

European-inspired Café Deluxe has a warm, bistro-styled interior with views of the Washingtonian Center boardwalk. A 15-foot-wide window folds open from the interior bar to the patio for pass-through service. Meanwhile, swinging doors provide access, fixed door panels offer light, and inswing casements allow for private and semi-private dining options.

Kolbe attracts high-end consumers with new campaign |
Kolbe has launched a new campaign to reach consumers. This multi-phased plan involved rolling out a new consumer website and a "We're for the Visionaries" advertising campaign.
The new consumer website, kolbewindows.com, is designed to help consumers become familiar with Kolbe products and encourage them to select their windows and doors while working with design professionals. We will continue to maintain and update kolbe-kolbe.com as a professional site for architects, builders, distributors/dealers, etc.
The ad campaign involves print ads in high-end consumer magazines and banner ads on selected high-end consumer websites. |
