South Hills Campus

No matter where you choose to serve, there is an opportunity to minister to others. A Chapter 2 volunteer shared,

"A man in his early 20s wandered into Chapter 2 recently. He was looking for something, but he didn't know what. After talking with him and listening, it became clear this was his first time in a church in many years. He wasn't just looking for a book, but for a relationship better than the ones he currently had.

After 30 minutes of talking, listening and showing him materials ranging from a Bible to Living Grounded, it became clear he needed to get started with Living Grounded. He was excited and has engaged our Discipleship Ministry to begin his journey."

Robinson Campus

On December 22, over 30 adult volunteers went back to school - to pass out pajamas at Sto Rox Elementary School. Once there, volunteers formed small groups to interact with the students in their classrooms. A classic Christmas story was read, songs were sung, there was clapping, laughing, and the type of restless energy that six- and seven-year-olds are known for - it was awesome! Then, one classroom at a time, pajamas were delivered. A few of the classrooms responded by immediately putting on the PJ's over top of their clothes.

One parent wrote this note to us afterwards:

I just wanted to thank you all for the donations of pajamas at Sto today! What a wonderful thing for all those kids to receive. I'm a parent of three that attend the elementary school and j know my boys were always thrilled with their pjs's (and the bookbags!) and now my daughter is in kindergarten and now it's her turn. It was a great morning with all of you and hopefully I can come to volunteer again. Thanks!

Washington Campus

One of the fastest growing ministries at The Bible Chapel in Washington is our Children's Ministry. We take seriously the charge to develop followers of Jesus Christ - and that starts with our children!

Isabel DeRosa, a member of our Kids Praise class, drew this picture in her free time to express praise to God for who he is and what he's done for her. Isabel's mom was overwhelmed with gratitude when she saw this drawing, and she sent a picture to Taffy Kulp, our Children's Director, to thank her for the spiritual foundation that is being laid in her daughter's life. Praise God for the exciting things he is doing through our children at The Bible Chapel in Washington! Wilkinsburg Campus

On Christmas Eve, we celebrated two years of holding services in the Wilkinsburg Campus. Praise God for the work he's doing at our campus as we continue to seek his will and grow. The Worship Center was full, and we had a special performance from the Children's Ministry as they did a reenactment of the birth of Jesus.

March for Life

Leaving from the South Hills Campus

Join us in the MARCH FOR LIFE 43rd anniversary of the Supreme Court's infamous Roe v Wade decision. Our purpose is to petition Congress and the President to protect the right to life of every born and pre-born human being.

We will travel to Washington, DC on chartered buses, leaving The Bible Chapel, South Hills Campus, at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 and returning at midnight. There will be Bible Chapel guides to assist those unfamiliar with Washington, D.C. and the March.

The March this year is just as important as it was 43 years ago. Our hope is to celebrate in the near future the protection of the RIGHT TO LIFE and the defeat of abortion.

The COST is $45 per person (includes a boxed lunch on the way home). Payment is due at the time of registration.

WEAR warm clothing; bring a sack lunch and snacks.

Night to Shine

On February 12, The Bible Chapel will host Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Night to Shine is a prom for individuals 16 and over with special needs.
