On Thursday, October 22, 2015 the 45th Anniversary of Michigan Lutheran High School will be observed at a special ML Foundation / Association Banquet beginning at 6:00 PM in the Michigan Lutheran High School Gymnasium. Our guest speaker for the evening will be Pastor Mark Jeske from St. Marcus Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, WI. Pastor Jeske also heads the "Time of Grace" ministry. He will speak on the importance of Christian Education at all levels. Please be our guest to enjoy a fine meal and learn more about the ministry at YOUR Lutheran High School. There is no charge for the evening; we only ask you to sign-up at your home congregation or call Amy Sievert at (269) 429-7861, Ext. 201 so we will know how many to anticipate. HALF DAYS FOR MLHS STUDENTS

On October 23, students will be released at 11:38 to allow for early sports practices so Koine and ML can setup for the evening reception and concert.  We will have class periods 3,4,5, and 6.

On November 25, there will be an early release for Thanksgiving Break.  Class periods will be 1,2,7, and 8.  Classes will dismiss at 11:46 on that day.

PSAT/ACT TESTING and SENIOR SERVICE DAY
On October 14, ML freshman, sophomore and juniors will all be taking a form of the PSAT standardized test. Start time is 8:35.  Late arrivals cannot take the test.  Dismissal for the students will be at approximately 11:30.
Also, Senior Service Day is a day where the senior class goes to local grade schools to assist teachers for the morning and interact with the students of the schools.  Each senior has received their location.  They should dress appropriately for the morning, plan a lunch of their own, and plan on staying until after noon recess duty.  When they arrive at the school, the office will have their assignment for the day.  This is also a great opportunity for our students to showcase what great students are at ML!  Parents, please encourage them in this and students, have fun!

ML STUDENT OUTING AT BARBOTT'S CORN MAZE
Student Council will be hosting the Annual Corn Maze Adventure at Barbott's Farm on
Saturday, October 24. Sign up on the activity board located outside the ML school office. Cost is $7 for students who sign up by the end of the day on Friday, October 23. Please turn your payment in to the school office when signing up.

Meet at Barbott's at 5:30pm (after the football game that afternoon). Late arrivals will pay full price. Following the corn maze there will be a bonfire at the Titan Center until 10 PM.

THE MLHS STUDENT/FACULTY/STAFF DIRECTORY
WAS HANDED OUT TO YOUR STUDENT THIS PAST WEEK.  The directory contains phone numbers, emails, and addresses of the students, staff, and faculty.  Please ask your student for the copy if you haven't already received it.
