SENIORS:
Selective Service Registration
Federal law says that all 18-year-old men must register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday.  Registration takes only a few minutes and can be accomplished by visiting www.sss.gov.  For additional information, call 1-847-688-6888.  Failure to register can lead to fines, prison, or withholding of college grants.

MORE CLASS OPTIONS FOR MLHS STUDENTS
MLHS is improving its course offerings once again this year.  Last year, ML implemented AP Chemistry and AP Stats right here at ML as well as did a trial run of online course offerings through Area Lutheran High Schools Online (ALHSO) where students took online AP US History as well as a graphics design course.  This test run went very well and now we are opening this up to juniors and seniors this school year to take up to 20 additional online classes through ALHSO.  What a blessing this resource will be to our students as they can seek out additional electives and courses that will benefit them in their own areas of interest.  Our WELS Area Lutheran High Schools are working together to improve the quality of our already high standards and giving schools with limited resources this wonderful opportunity to expand our offerings through this great program.

TRANSCRIPT REQUEST?
Our office has gone to an online transfer of documents called "Parchment".  Parchment is an online database that will transfer an official transcript to a college, or address requesting it.  You can request your transcript by going to our ML Website:  www.michiganlutheran.org and clicking on the box, "Request my transcript"  on the right side of the home page.  If you have any questions about this service, please contact Mrs. Sievert in the Office.
