Michigan Lutheran High School provides Christ-centered learning for Christ-centered living.

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS 

The MLHS School Office will maintain the summer office hours of 10:00 - 1:00 PM.  If you are making the trip to the school please call ahead to be sure there is someone available to help you.  Have a blessed summer.  We look forward to serving you in the 2015-16 school year.

Financial Aid for MLHS

 

The application and disbursement time frame for tuition assistance deadline is coming very soon.  The applications are being evaluated.

 



 


2013-2014 Yearbooks are here
If you paid for a yearbook for the 2013/14 school year, please stop by the school office to pick it up.  There is a list of people who purchased books on the school office door.  Books can be purchased for $45 on a first-come/first-serve basis.  Please call ahead to make sure Amy is in the office.

SENIORS:
Selective Service Registration
Federal law says that all 18-year-old men must register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday.  Registration takes only a few minutes and can be accomplished by visiting www.sss.gov.  For additional information, call 1-847-688-6888.  Failure to register can lead to fines, prison, or withholding of college grants.



NEW TEACHERS
Please help in anyway you can to make our new teachers feel welcome!  They are moving into town starting this weekend.  Many hands are needed!

Megan Wohlrabe is moving into the Titan Center on Saturday, July 4th, in the late afternoon.  Please contact Heidi Plocher if you can help.  internationals@michiganlutheran.org

MLHS SUMMER SPORTS CAMPS - REGISTER ONLINE!

 
Early Bird fees have ended for Volleyball and Soccer Bible Camp.  There is still room and time left to sign up.  Football Camp Early Bird fee ends on July 10

Below is a link to sign up online for all the summer sports camps.  It takes you to Sign Up Genius where you may sign up and pay on line if you wish. 

A safety feature for Athletics requires people to create a SignUp Genius Account to sign up online.  Your information is not shared with anyone but ML Athletics.  If you would rather not go with this option,  you may still print and mail your brochure to ML Athletics.  Please check Athletics Web Page or call JoAnn Eggert with questions.

 

 

 


 

DID YOU KNOW THAT MLHS HAS A TRAP CLUB?

 

Zeb Pappenfuss took part in the 2015 Michigan Skeet and Sporting Clays State Championship on June 13.  In Sporting Clays he finished 36th in the state competing against other Varsity Shooters.  His squad (team) finished sixth.  In the Skeet competition he shot  a personal best 24 of 25 targets and ended up 92nd in the state when all 100 targets when compiled.  His Squad finished 25th in the state.   CONGRATULATIONS Zeb!

 

 

 

 

Share Christ with Someone Who's Never Met HIM
ML's international student body continues to grow!! In response to that growth, ML is in need of 2 families willing to serve as 1 year host families to two young men from China. 
"I thought international students lived in the dorm. Why do you need housing?" Great question! 
ML is able to provide an education to two types of international students.The first type of student (J1) must live with a host family. This student attends our school on a government-sponsored visa and may only visit for one year as a form of "cultural exchange". The second type of student is one who applies directly to our school seeking a diploma from Michigan Lutheran High School. This type of student resides at the Titan Center during the school year with family placements during school breaks and dorm closings. 
Stipends are provided to families who host either type of student. If interested, please send a message to the International Program Coordinator:

Soccer Bible Camp August 3-5,2015
Our Co-Ed Camps are all about learning!  Yes, we will focus heavily on making your child a better, more-skilled soccer player.  Yes, your child will have a great time!  Yes, we will have trained coaches and athletes helping!  And, yes, your child will learn about the  "One Thing Needed" - not trophies, not awards, but Jesus Christ and his love!
We are going TOWARDS the GOAL at our Soccer Bible Camp where we will improve our soccer skills and have fun all the while focusing on what is truly important!

Emily Seidler (MLHS class of 2010) and David Kenyon (MLHS Class of 2011) where united in holy matrimony at Grace Lutheran Church in St. Joseph on Saturday, June 20, 2015.  We wish them the Lord's richest blessings on their marriage.
