Thanks from Mr. Kruck, and Mrs. Gephart

Dear ML Family,
Words cannot express the heartfelt thanks I have for the Thanksgiving Service and the Program that followed to celebrate my retirement.  It was an enjoyable time with friends, parents, and students.  The outpouring of love and thankfulness is overwhelming, and I am truly humbled.
Thank you so much to all of you for everything you did to make the day so special.  May God continue to bless Michigan Lutheran and its families.
In Christ's name,
Mrs. Ruth Gephart

Dear Friends,
The Kruck family thanks all involved in the planning and execution of the special service marking my retirement from the teaching ministry - the out pouring of comments, cards and gifts was a pleasant surprise.  The large number attending the program indicates the strong support for our ministry. Please continue to remember ML in your prayers and gifts.  I pray God continues to bless each of you and our beloved ML.
In Christ's Name,
William Kruck & Family

Prism Concert Series:

The annual MLHS Prism Concerts will be held on Saturday, May 16th at 7 PM, and Sunday, May 17th at 3 PM.  The yearly Prism Concert gives our students the opportunity to present a variety of secular music to our MLHS family.  No tickets are sold or reservations taken.  Seating is offered on a first-come basis and a free will offering to support our Music Department will be taken.  This is an excellent opportunity to invite relatives or friends to share with you the enjoyable experience of MLHS using their God-given talents in a wide variety of ways.  Plan to attend and invite others to come with you for one or both of the concerts.  This is a highlight of our year!

MLHS ARTWORLD
Congratulations to Cody Laughlin, Donghee Lee, and Samantha Rock for having their artwork selected for "Technology Meets the  Arts" at the Whirlpool Tech Center.

Congratulations to Rachel Krieger, Sam Sievert and Donghee Lee for winning art awards at the Buchanan Creative High School Art Show.

2015 Graduation Commencement

2015 Graduation Commencement exercises for the Class of 2015 will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 3:00 PM.  As in the past, we will hold a worship service to thank God for the gifts he has bestowed on these young people and to ask His blessings on their future endeavors.  After the conclusion of the service, we will hold the graduation ceremony, which has always been a little less reverent with picture taking, occasional applause, and the like.  The valedictorians speak, and the senior anthem completes the ceremony.  Families of seniors will receive a letter outlining the procedure for graduation (dress, times, preparation, etc...)  Feel free to call the school office with your questions.

Senior Parents:
Please get your student's Senior Pictures submitted to dsperle@michiganlutheran.org so they will have a place in the yearbook.

Attention Seniors and Senior Parents:
This is just a reminder that there will be a $27.00 fee for graduation caps and gowns for which each of our seniors was measured.  They can be picked up from the ML Office beginning May 11.  Robes should be taken out of the wrap and hung on a hanger immediately so that they are not wrinkled for commencement services.

ATTENTION: Science adventures ahead!
Over a stretch of seven weeks, Ferris State University offers week-long camp opportunities in Grand Rapids where students can explore three career paths locally: Digital Animation and Game Design, Digital Media Software Engineering, and Molecular Diagnostics. These week-long camps are a great opportunity for students to get their feet wet and determine if they'd be interested in a career developing applications for smartphones, creating their own video games, or separating DNA to help detect cancer or a genetic disorder. All of these career possibilities can be studied at Ferris State University-Grand Rapids on the campus of Grand Rapids Community College.

For more information on all summer camps being offered, please visit www.ferris.edu/summercamps. You can also contact Susan Weaver with any questions: (231) 591-2920 orSusanWeaver@ferris.edu.
If you would like information about the programs offered at the statewide locations of Ferris, visit www.ferris.edu/statewide.
