PRAYER REQUEST

We Praise God that Pastor Schneider's quadruple bypass surgery was a success and that he should be coming home this week.   He will still have recuperating to do at home.  Prayers for a successful and speedy recovery are appreciated.
Coverage of Pastor Schneider's courses:
With Pastor Schneider's surgery, MLHS administration has been working diligently to find qualified teachers to cover the sections in Pastor's absence.  The following is the plan for coverage until Pastor Schneider can return.

Mrs. Becky Briney, a WELS member and trained teacher from Grace Lutheran, St. Joseph, will be covering the foreign language sections, American Government, and World History.

Two pastors from St. Paul's, Stevensville will begin next week covering senior Religion.  Pastor Jon Kruschel will cover third quarter and Pastor Brett Ehlke will take the 4th quarter.

Pastor Ehlke from St. Paul's has agreed to teach the Latin 2 section.

We are very grateful for these servants to come in and pick up where Pastor Schneider has left off.  If you have any questions for these instructors, their email addresses are below:
Pastor Kruschel - jpk@stpaulswels.org
Pastor Ehlke - bae@stpaulswels.org

You can also contact Mr. Herbst with any questions that you may have regarding the coverage.  Planbook and PowerSchool will continue to be updated to keep parents and students in the loop as to assignments and grades in these courses.

MLHS Alumni Association

The MLHS Alumni Association is extending a sincere thank you to everyone that participated in our "2014 Silent Auction". Through all your generous donations and support at last year's auction, and by the Grace of God, we were able to make another donation of $10,000 to the MLHS Tuition Assistance Program.

The MLHS Alumni Association is now accepting donations for the 2015 Silent Auction scheduled for February 13th & 14th. Our goal each year is to meet and/or exceed last year's donation total, but this can only happen through your generous support. Please consider contributing an item for our silent auction. We ask that all items donated are new or unused. If you have any questions on an item that you want to donate, please contact anyone of the alumni officers or committee members. Some items that have sold well in past auctions are gift baskets, furniture, appliances, gift certificates, sporting events tickets, sporting goods, food items, electronic equipment, etc. Monetary donations are also accepted. Please contact the MLHS office for alumni contacts. Looking forward to seeing you at the 2015 Silent Auction and Festivities!
