Titan Football Help
The Titan football program is looking for individuals to be a part of the excitement for our 2014 season by serving in a variety of support roles. We have many ways that both students and adults can contribute. We are currently seeking filmers (for games, practices, or both), stat keepers, managers, in-game ball handlers, and various other game day jobs. Please contact Coach Zeiger at (269) 325-1858 or coachzeiger@yahoo.com.

Volleyball Line Judges Needed

The Titan volleyball program is looking for adults or senior students to line judge at our varsity home volleyball matches.  Contact Mr. Eggert if you are interested.  You would be expected to do all the home matches.  There is a small amount of pay available.

SPORTS PASSES

A family sports pass is now available from the athletic department, and can be purchased from the ticket takers at any MLHS home game.  The pass will allow admittance to all immediate family members (living at home) at all home games (not valid at away games nor any MHSAA district tournaments or Lutheran elementary school tournaments played at MLHS) for the 2014-2015 school year.  The cost of the pass is $109.  Sorry, but the family pass is not valid for football.

Ticket prices for home games will be $2 for kindergarten through eighth grade, $5 for ninth grade through adult.  Admittance is free for children who are not yet in kindergarten and for adults 65 and older. MLHS students will not need to pay an admission fee for home events.

REDUCED PRICE FOR STUDENTS

Student presale tickets will be sold for the Red Arrow conference games.  They are $2.00 and will be available the day of the game.  Red Arrow conference schools are Eau Claire,  Howardsville Christian,  Lake Michigan Catholic,  Grace Christian,  Countryside Academy and River Valley.
You are supporting ML by buying a presale ticket,  the money from presale stays with ML.  Student tickets will be $5 if you purchase at the game.

International Students at MLHS:

Our International Program has truly been blessed this year, both in numbers of students participating, as well as introducing a new dynamic to the student body. Please continue to pray for these students, and please consider opening your homes to one of these students on a weekend or a break. They crave US friendships and connections, and right now is the time to invest a bit of yourselves and your families into these students. Share your faith, live your faith, share our culture (even the fact that you may be home doing "chores" for a weekend!), share that same love that Christ has shown you to share with others. Your world mission field is right here! Looking for more information:/ideas on how you can impact an international student's life? Contact:
Heidi Plocher, International Advisor : internationals@michiganlutheran.org or call:  269-556-9270 Ext. 1313.

MLHS has been blessed to enroll 8 (soon to be 11) international students for the 2014-15 school year.

From South Korea: Daniel (Joon) Lee, Donghee Lee, June (JuYeon) Lee, Louie (JiHwan) Lim, Ryan (SiWon) Yun and , and AJ (Hyeukjin) Yang.

From China: Johnson (Keju) Zhou, and Saul (Yijun) Wang, .

We will be adding 3 more Chinese students in the next few weeks (2 boys and a girl).

Please reach out to these students with your help, and kind hearts.  Let your light shine!   God extends his love to all cultures and all people.  Praise God for the chance to learn more about these individuals and their cultures and also to teach them about ours.
