MLHS Volleyball and Boy's Basketball Programs
Acquired New Head Coaches
Our new volleyball head coach is Mr. Bruce Molineaux. He is encouraging players and parents of 9th - 12th grade to attend a meeting on June 10 at 7:00 pm, in the MLHS Media Center. Mr. Molineaux's cell phone is 269-921-1678 and his email is [email protected].
Mr. Robert Guse will take over the boy's basketball varsity head coach postition. Players and parents of 9th-12th graders are encouraged to attend a "Meet the Coach" meeting this Sunday, June 1, at 7:00 pm in the MLHS Media Center. If interested in playing but unable to attend this Sunday evening, please contact Mr. Guse at [email protected] or by phone at 269-757-2055.

All Students:
If you have not turned in your registration papers, please do so as soon as possible. If you have questions, please contact the school office or your student's class advisor. If you would like information about career technical education or dual enrollment, please contact Mr. Kruck in the guidance office at 269-429-7861 (Ext: 203). A student is not considered registered until the registration form is returned with a $50 non-refundable deposit. The $50 is applied toward next year's tuition. It was our goal to have all students registered by now. If you have not yet registered your child/children please do so as soon as possible. Thank you.

Financial Aid for MLHS
This year we are changing the application and disbursement time frame for tuition assistance deadline.
Applications can be requested from our financial office. These need to be filled out and returned to MLHS by June 16. We will get the amount of assistance to our families by July 1st.

Erik Thorson (class of 2013) recently received the leading male role,Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. It will be at the Mendel Center July 18,19,20 if anyone would like to go. It is performed through CMW Teen stock.
Taylor Burkhardt (class of 2012) made the Honors Presidents list for Central Michigan University.
Nathaniel Rosenbaum (class of 2012) graduated from LMC with an Associate's Degree and has enrolled at Western Michigan for the 2014-15 school year pursuing a degree in physical therapy
Jacqueline Renee Kenyon (class of 2007) graduated on May 12, 2014 from The School of the Art Institute in Chicago (SAIC) with her Master's of Science in Historic Preservation
Darcey Sempert (class of 2013) made the Dean's list for the second semester at Grand Valley University.
Brittany Lucius (class of 2012) made the Dean's List for Spring semester at
Ferris State University.
Faith Styx (class of 2012) graduated from Southwestern Michigan College, with dual degrees-AA and AS with honors Phi Theta Kappa and President's List, 3.91 GPA .
Nicholas Miller ( Classs of 2013 ) has been named to the Dean's List in the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University, Spring 2014.

Selective Service Registration
Federal law says that all 18-year-old men must register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. Registration takes only a few minutes and can be accomplished by visiting www.sss.gov. For additional information, call 1-847-688-6888. Failure to register can lead to fines, prison, or withholding of college grants.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT UPDATE
Our Korean Students have made it home safely for the summer. They all enjoyed their American experience thanks to the many relationships built at MLHS. We look forward to seeing them again in August when we will be welcoming additional international students to the MLHS Student Body.
Please consider opening your home to share the American Family Experience with them.

Yearbook Order Form to Print
2013/14 Yearbooks
2013/14 yearbooks will be for sale through June 13th. If students have not prepaid for this book, they will get an order form home in the next week, or you can print the link above. This is the last opportunity to buy the 2013/14 book as order deadline is approaching. If you do not/ have not ordered there may not be extras.

Soccer Bible Camp June 23-27
Our Co-Ed Camps are all about learning! Yes, we will focus heavily on making your child a better, more-skilled soccer player. Yes, your child will have a great time! Yes, we will have trained coaches and athletes helping! And, yes, your child will learn about the "One Thing Needed" - not trophies, not awards, but Jesus Christ and his love!
We are going TOWARDS the GOAL at our Soccer Bible Camp where we will improve our soccer skills and have fun all the while focusing on what is truly important!
The camp is for students in grades 1-8.

Titan Football Workouts
