TEST GEAR

ACT Prep, online ACT, WorkKeys, and Michigan Merit Exam preparation course is a part of the freshman technology curriculum at MLHS. The course is called TestGEAR. Because ML pays an annual fee, ALL students are eligible for a Test GEAR account. The course is comprehensive and can take up to 60 hours to complete. It is interactive and personalizes itself to your specific needs as you use it. You can also visit www.act.org for released exams, sample essays, and sample questions. Students can log on at school or at home. It's not too early to begin preparation for the MME. This test gear generates an ACT score that will be used for college admissions. Talk to Mr. Lillo or Mr. Kruck to get information about how to sign on to your account.

"Dig Pink" Volleyball Match

Michigan Lutheran vs. Lake Michigan Catholic

Bringing two high school rivals together for one great cause!!

Tuesday, September 24, 2013

At Michigan Lutheran High School

JV starts at 5:30        Varsity to follow at 7:00

Come and support your local volleyball teams as they play their Red Arrow Conference match while also raising money for the Dig Pink Side-Out Foundation!

"Dig Pink" is a volleyball event supported by over 1,000 college and high school teams who are committed to supporting the goals of the Side-Out Foundation. The name "Side-Out" underscores the purpose of the organization. A "Side-Out" in volleyball occurs when one team wins a point while its opponent is serving, thereby regaining serve or control of play. Likewise in the war against breast cancer, the Side-Out Foundation supports health care professionals in their pursuit of practical solutions for women and men with this disease thus enabling those affected to regain control of their lives and living them to the fullest.

The games will begin at 5:30 with the Junior Varsity teams. The Varsity match will follow at 7:00. We will have "Dig Pink" t-shirts for sale along with some "pink" goodies.

DON'T FORGET TO WEAR PINK!!!!!

T-shirts are available for a pre-sale cost of $10.00. Orders and payments must be received before September.   Please contact an ML or LMC volleyball player for an order form.

There will be some t-shirts available for sale the night of the game.

The price will be $12 each and size availability may be limited.

ACT / PSAT Testing & Senior Service Day

These are national tests that help students in their career planning and with preparation for education beyond high school. The freshmen have class while these tests are being taken. Seniors will perform service projects at our association Lutheran elementary schools by assisting the teachers in whatever ways they can.
