International Students at MLHS:

MLHS has been blessed to enroll 4 international students for the 2013-14 school year.   We have two girls from South Korea; Donghee Lee, and June Lee.  We also have two boys from South Korea;  Louie Lim and AJ Yang.

Please reach out to these students with your help, and kind hearts.  Let your light shine!   God extends his love to all cultures and all people.  Praise God for the chance to learn more about these individuals and their cultures and also to teach them about ours.

ATHLETICS

There are still students who need a current physical!
All students that are freshman, seniors or athletes need a physical dated after April 15, 2013.  MLHS needs record of this ASAP!

SPORTS PASSES
A family sports pass is now available from the athletic department, and can be purchased from the ticket takers at any MLHS home game.  The pass will allow admittance to all immediate family members (living at home) at all home games (not valid at away games nor any MHSAA district tournaments or Lutheran elementary school tournaments played at MLHS) for the 2012-2013 school year.  The cost of the pass is $109.  Sorry, but the family pass is not valid for football.

Ticket prices for home games will be $2 for kindergarten through eighth grade, $5 for ninth grade through adult.  Admittance is free for children who are not yet in kindergarten and for adults 65 and older.

 Needed for our Athletes...

The Athletic Department is asking for donations for a new television, TV stand, video camera, and TiVo system which will improve practice time.   Players will be able to do a drill, watch themselves, and learn right away.   This system will be used for all of our Titan sports teams.  The total amount needed for the system is $709.  Thank you to all our Titan supporters and for considering a gift to help with this system.

"Dig Pink" Volleyball Match

Michigan Lutheran vs. Lake Michigan Catholic

Bringing two high school rivals together for one great cause!!

Tuesday, September 24, 2013

At Michigan Lutheran High School

JV starts at 5:30        Varsity to follow at 7:00

Come and support your local volleyball teams as they play their Red Arrow Conference match while also raising money for the Dig Pink Side-Out Foundation!

"Dig Pink" is a volleyball event supported by over 1,000 college and high school teams who are committed to supporting the goals of the Side-Out Foundation. The name "Side-Out" underscores the purpose of the organization. A "Side-Out" in volleyball occurs when one team wins a point while its opponent is serving, thereby regaining serve or control of play. Likewise in the war against breast cancer, the Side-Out Foundation supports health care professionals in their pursuit of practical solutions for women and men with this disease thus enabling those affected to regain control of their lives and living them to the fullest.

The games will begin at 5:30 with the Junior Varsity teams. The Varsity match will follow at 7:00. We will have "Dig Pink" t-shirts for sale along with some "pink" goodies.

DON'T FORGET TO WEAR PINK!!!!!

T-shirts are available for a pre-sale cost of $10.00. Orders and payments must be received before September . Please contact an ML or LMC volleyball player for an order form.

There will be some t-shirts available for sale the night of the game.
