MISSION STATEMENT

Michigan Lutheran High School provides a Christ-centered, confessionally Lutheran secondary education to prepare young adults for lives of Christian service in their churches, workplaces, communities, the world, and for life with their Lord in eternity.

Titan for a Day Grades 5-6

The fifth and sixth grade Titan for a Day event for local Lutheran elecmentary schools will be held on Friday, May 17, in conjuction with the dress rehearsal for the Prism Concert.  The Titan Student Council will host games and provide beverages and a snack for our elementary school guests.  The event begins at 11:30 AM and ends after the Prism Concert dress rehearsal, which begins at 1:00 PM.  The high school students not participating in Titan for a Day or the Prism Concert are dismissed at 11:15 that day.

Prism Concert Series
The annual MLHS Prism Concerts will be held on Saturday May 18th at 7 PM, and Sunday, May 19th at 3 PM.  The yearly Prism Concert gives our student the opportunity to present a variety of secular music to our MLHS family.  No tickets are sold or reservations taken.  Seating is offered on a first-come basis and a free will offering to support our Music Department will be taken.  This is an excellent opportunity to invite relatives or friends to share with you the enjoyable experience of MLHS using their God-given gifts in a wide variety of ways.  Plan to attend and invite others to come with you for one or both of the concerts.  The two concerts will have some different performances.  This is a highlight of our year!

International Students Need Host Families

Michigan Lutheran High School needs host families! God is blessing your area Lutheran high school with an abundance of international students who will be attending MLHS in the fall. We can provide the education, but we are asking you to provide a home for them while they are here. You do not need to have a student who is currently attending Michigan Lutheran. We simply ask for a willingness to treat these students as you would your own child (or grandchild!), by sharing God's Word and His love with them as you open your homes to them. This is an incredible opportunity to serve as a missionary in your own home! If you have any questions, please contact Heidi Plocher, International Advisor: 429-7861, ext. 211 or internationals@michiganlutheran.org

All Students:
If you have not turned in your registration papers, please do so as soon as possible.  If you have questions, please contact the school office or your student's class advisor.  If you would like information about career technical education or dual enrollment, please contact Mr. Kruck in the guidance office at 269-429-7861 (Ext: 203).  A student is not considered registered until the registration form is returned with a $50 non-refundable deposit.  The $50 is applied toward next year's tuition.  It was our goal to have all students registered by Sunday, April 21. If you have not yet registered your child/children please do so as soon as possible.

2013 Graduation and Commencement Service

Commencement exercises for the Class of 2013 will take place on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 3:00 PM.  As in the past, we will hold a worship service to thank God for the gifts he has bestowed on these young people and to ask His blessings on their future endeavors.  After the conclusion of the service, we will hold the graduation ceremony which has always been a little less reverent with picture taking, occasional applause, and the like.  The valedictorian will speak and the senior anthem completes the ceremony  Families of the seniors should have already received a letter outlining the procedure for the graduation (dress, times, preparation, etc.)  Feel free to call the school office with any questions.
