Olsson-developed software helps protect public dollars

A maintenance manual is useless if it's buried under a pile on a desk or if newly designed parts are never updated in the manual. 
And what about that time when a mechanic in the field is in the middle of a preventative maintenance procedure, wishing he had more documentation? Olsson Associates has designed a solution--a solution the Lincoln Wastewater System division has benefitted from.

Olsson helps UNK grow for the future with utility corridor expansion

The students at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) have big plans for their futures. To match these ambitions, UNK is continually working on big plans for its campus. 
One of UNK's "big plans" is its initiative to develop its west campus. Part of this development includes the West Campus Utility Corridor Expansion project, which extends the existing heating and cooling system to provide service to UNK's west campus. Olsson Associates helped design this major utility corridor extension to serve the planned development.

"Fluvial geomorphologist" is not a job title that inspires much excitement in the masses.
But understanding what a fluvial geomorphologist actually does can pique some interest. In fact, Olsson's fluvial geomorphology services can be invaluable when dealing with a project that is impacted by water flow.
Olsson's fluvial geomorphologists, simply put, are experts who understand how the landscape is affected by flowing water. But, in practice, our work can take us from the mouth of the Mississippi River to the dry washes of the desert.
Water Resources team secures key projects in Kansas City region

The Water Resources team will be kept hopping in the Kansas City area in the coming months. Olsson Associates was awarded two major projects in June, and both are significant projects for the team.

The first is the On-Call Stormwater Engineering services for the City of Kansas City, Missouri (KCMO). The second is the Indian Creek Stormwater Improvements project in Olathe, Kansas.
