Nebraska Water Funding Task Force submits recommendations

The Nebraska Water Funding Task Force, formed under Nebraska Legislative Bill (LB) 517, submitted its recommendations in late December 2013 to the Nebraska Legislature for a strategic, long-term funding plan for Nebraska's water projects. In the 2014 session, senators on the Task Force have recently introduced legislation based on the Task Force's recommendations.

 

Task force members were supported by a consultant team led by Olsson.

A new year, a new look

 

Mike Piernicky To usher in the start of 2014, we bring you a new look to our client e-newsletter - a fresh "perspective" as you learn more about what's going on with Olsson.

 

In this issue, Olsson was recently honored by the Design-Build Institute of America Mid-America Region for our services on a street and infrastructure rehabilitation project. We bring you an update on the new Nebraska State Patrol Crime Lab that Olsson is very excited to help design. In addition, revised due diligence standards from the American Society of Testing and Materials will help Olsson's scientists as they conduct Phase I ESAs on projects.

For its work on the Brookview Gardens Neighborhood Design-Build Improvement project, Olsson won both the 2013 Honor Award and the 2013 Design-Build Project of the Year from the Design-Build Institute of America Mid-America Region.

Olsson's Mechanical/Electrical group was part of the team recently selected to help build the new Nebraska State Patrol Crime Lab.
