Greetings from Olsson Associates
Olsson Associates has always aspired to encourage and provide opportunities for those entering the engineering field. This month, we report how these ideals are put into action at Olsson.
We're pleased to report on the work Andrea Bollinger, EI, has undertaken to promote and encourage women joining the engineering field as part of the "Women in STEM" program.
Colorado School of Mines recently announced a new bachelor's degree program specific to civil engineering, as reported below. Practice Leader Mike Yost, PE, contributed to this decision while serving on the advisory panel that made the recommendation. He will continue to serve on the panel as CSM seeks accreditation approval for the new civil engineering degree.
In this month's e-newsletter, we're also very pleased to note that one of Olsson's soil scientists recently completed a major grounds restoration at the George W. Bush Presidential Library in Dallas, Texas.
I welcome your thoughts and comments. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
