Greetings from Olsson Associates
With the month of February, comes the shortest month of the year and the promise that we'll make it to spring. To get us there, we've been busy with projects that we're excited to tell you about. First, we have a project update on our involvement with the Grand Island Sewer project. The improvements are vast and they're moving quickly. Secondly, we were recently selected by the City of Tecumseh to upgrade its historic town square. We're also pleased to report on our increasing work with design-build projects. We're saving our clients time and money with this method and invite you to learn more below. Finally, we're very excited about our work with building Family Dollar stores across the Midwest, Great Lakes, and southern regions. We are providing our civil engineering expertise to get these stores up and running.
As always, I welcome your feedback and questions.

By Suzanne Small
Design-build projects are not new, but this method of delivery has been traditionally considered for large projects and not for municipal transportation infrastructure work, such as roadway repaving, reconstruction, and other upgrades. Depending on the project goal, reconfiguring your design-bid-build project to a design-build project can provide real advantages.
