Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.
I hope you enjoyed your friends family as we celebrated this Christmas season. I feel such a sense of anticipation and, yes, JOY, as
I plan for 2013. It's a wonderful life!
No, not everything is perfect in this stager's life and business, but so much is going well that I'm a bit beside myself.
Many of you know that I am a person of faith. My son is the pastor
of a new Jacksonville Beach church. It's a cross between a coffee
bar and a contemporary music club. Huge black & white pictures of beaches landmarks grace the walls. www.OceanCityChurch.org.
The last few services have been off-the-charts, goose-bump good.
Sigh!! I'm happy!
What a "Wonderful Life" we are witnessing all around!
I see miracles happening in the lives of family and friends in crises.
I celebrate the markers of progress with those in successful cancer
treatment and grieve with those who did not have good news.
Farewell Bonnie, my dear friend. And so long to Jerry also. I will miss you both. I look forward to seeing you on the other side of the rainbow someday.
It's a Wonderful Life, anyway, in spite of struggles and challenges.
We have entered the world of luxury vacation rentals. It's not easy
but it is a great opportunity to help property owners, mostly from
out-of-town, to update and beautify their second home or investment property. I'll share more later as we work through evaluating the problem units.

The RESA Showhouse was so much fun. We will have more pictures later but here are a few now. It was a beautiful experience and we couldn't be happier.
The pictures will be submitted to Coastal Living magazine. We will keep you posted on this. You must create a buzz wherever you can to promote your business or organization. "You have not because you ask not." Ask for BIG things and you will get them.
My column in the Florida Times-Union came about because I simply asked for it. I had contributed a few guest posts in the past and when a column became available, I asked for it. It was the hardest but most rewarding non-paying job I've ever had in my years as a business marketer. It's a wonderful life.
There is a book titled, Do Hard Things. It was written by 2 teenagers who wrote about themselves and other young people who accomplished outrageously successful but nearly impossible endeavors, mostly for the benefit of others in need. It's message to us is to "rebel against low expectations."
What an inspiration for 2013. DO HARD THINGS!!!
What are you afraid of and what is stopping you from moving forward!! Tackle it with abandon; be fearless!
George Bailey was faced with an impossible situation in the movie,
It's a Wonderful Life. He underestimated the impact of family and friends, not to mention the power of angel intervention.
Be committed to do those things that seem really difficult. Maybe there's a Clarence in your life rooting for you to succeed, trying to show you how valuable your life really is to the world.
I thank God for all the friends and family who encouraged me along the way. I love you all. "No one is a failure if he has friends."
It really is a wonderful life!!!
