Young Leaders in Action: Brian Haynes, Zac Long, and Curtis Callaway volunteering at Brookwood Elementary School last fall during Make A Difference Day.
Looking for something to do this weekend? Volunteer at one of these great projects on Saturday, April 12th. 50 volunteers are needed for each project.

Brookwood Beautification 
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help with a beautification project at Brookwood Elementary School. Volunteer opportunities include assembling benches, removing and relocating shrubs, planting new plants, and spreading mulch. 
Be Green, Beaverdale!
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Volunteers are needed to turn Beaverdale's unused greenhouse into a utilized greenhouse and add raised bed gardens. Tasks include assembling raised bed gardens, cleaning up the greenhouse, planting seeds in pots, pulling weeds, planting trees, and preparing the tables for the greenhouse.

The 2014 Kiwanis - United Way Awards Banquet will be held on Monday, April 28, at Stage 123 in downtown Dalton. RSVP online and help us honor these outstanding volunteers.
