Headmaster's Greeting |
The Savior is Born!
Christianity is not about "understanding principles for better living." It is about Jesus Christ and the work He has accomplished for the salvation of all. It may be popular in some churches to talk about personal prosperity and happiness as the goal of the Christian life, but that diminishes Christ's promise of eternal life and distorts His nature as true God incarnate.
Jesus came to save sinners, not to show us how to create some kind of earthly utopia. We poor sinners are powerless to save ourselves or even follow a "way-shower" back to God. Instead, we need the Savior to reconcile us to God. His work assures us of heaven through faith, not of a trouble-free life through our own effort.
Jesus came to save-not merely to give us an attitude adjustment. Some claim that "right thinking" is the key to successful living. This so-called "secret" is supposed to give one the power to create a "healthy, happy and prosperous life." Jesus made no such promise! In fact, He said, "In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33 (NKJV)
Christians trust in a Person, not a principle; we trust in the Savior, not a secret. This Christmas worship Him who saved you from all sin and death by His sinless birth, life, death, and resurrection. He is worthy of your praise because Jesus is your Savior, too.
Merry Christmas,
Pastor William Heine

Re-Enrollment for Next School Year |
Believe it or not, it is almost time for re-enrollment information to go out for the 2013-2014 school year! There are some great new things happening that include a new MLS website being launched soon and a new re-enrollment procedure all done online. This will make re-enrollment so much easier. Parents will receive an email through RenWeb ParentsWeb. We are hoping to have this in place in January with a deadline for re-enrollment on February 15.
We are already receiving applications from new families at all age and grade levels, and we will need to let them know of our space availability as soon as possible.
We look forward to having you with us next school year! |
