Meet Heath Niemeyer

United Way's New Chief Development Officer

Heath Niemeyer We are pleased to announce that Heath Niemeyer is United Way's new Chief Development Officer. In this role, Heath will oversee existing fundraising work such as the annual campaign and major gifts efforts, and he will help develop and grow other streams of revenue.

Heath joins us from United Way of the Coastal Bend in Corpus Christi, Texas where he served as Vice President of Resource Development. He has held several positions within the United Way system and is a graduate of the United Way Worldwide Global Resident Fellows Program.

"We are excited to have Heath join our team," said Lynn Pharr, United Way's CEO. "I've had the pleasure of working with him in the past and have seen him successfully implement strategies that increased donor participation. His fundraising expertise will strengthen our ability to raise funds and develop donor relationships to support our work in education, income, and health."

"United Way plays an important role in the community and I am excited to be joining the team," Heath said. "It is a bonus for my wife and I that Richmond is a wonderful place to raise our family and we're looking forward to becoming active in the community."
