Many Reasons to be Thankful

ThanksgivingAs we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, our thoughts turn to the many reasons we're thankful.

At the top of our list, we're thankful to be a part of such a caring and generous community where people like you are creating a brighter future for our region. You have made it possible for thousands of people to be safe and cared for, learning and thriving.

We're thankful for your support of United Way and our many community partners. As you give, as you speak up and advocate for change, and as you volunteer your time you are providing opportunities that otherwise would not exist.

So during this season of thanks, please accept our deepest gratitude and thanks for your support: past, present and future.  We invite you to join us on Facebook and share things that you're thankful for during this season of giving and caring. Happy Holidays!

Thank You for Giving United

United Way's annual fund raising campaign is going strong. We're thankful for the hundreds of corporate and individual donors who are hard at work helping to reach and exceed our community's United Way goal to raise $16.7million. And, we thank all who have already stepped forward with their 2012 contribution or pledge.

It takes all of us working together to help prepare young children for school, help youth graduate on time, support families in crisis and ensure older adults stay active and healthy. If you have not yet made your 2012 pledge, we encourage you to do so soon through your workplace campaign, our United Way website, or by calling 804-771-5820. Thank you for Living United.
