This is the first time we have offered this Introduction to the World Caf course in Spanish, and we are very excited to have the opportunity. Please pass the word on to Spanish-speaking friends and colleagues who would like to know more about the World Caf and experience its power for themselves.

New World Cafe Website

Our new WordPress design will make it much easier to update and make changes on the website, e.g. the newly revised Caf To Go (translations welcome!) and other resources for World Caf hosts, including Nancy Margulies' classic Table Menu.

We've also brought all the World Caf blogs together and consolidated them into one. Browse for old favorites, and subscribe for regular new content, like Sunny Cook's recent post Percolating Possibilities that celebrates the history of Salon Culture and how the World Caf is continuing the tradition. Guest bloggers are most welcome -  contact us to start that conversation.

World Caf Impact Jamboree

It's a wonderful experience to join hands with people all over the world who are using World Caf in their work, in order to make visible and celebrate the impact we have made together over the last 20 years, and step together into the next 20.

Your Stories of Impact - large and small, at all levels of system and in all sectors - are heartening and encouraging. They inspire us to continue co-creating a future where have the courage to step up and together address the issues and concerns we most want want to impact.

If you haven't yet shared YOUR story, please do.
(Here's a link to a form that makes it easy)

To continue to help seed the futures we want, join the growing numbers of World Caf practitioners who are hosting an Impact Caf in their area. Whether it is an event you already have planned, a small get-together around your kitchen table, or a community-wide call to explore an issue of importance to you, draw on the power of community and the practical support offered by the World Cafe Community Foundation and register your Impact Caf now.

"We don't need to convince large numbers of people to change; instead, we need to connect with kindred spirits. This is why networks are so important.

But networks aren't the whole story. They need to evolve into intentional working relationships where new knowledge, practices, courage, and commitment can develop, such as happens in Communities of Practice.

From these relationships, emergence becomes possible.  Emergence is the process by which all large-scale change happens on this planet.

Separate, local efforts connect and strengthen their interactions and
inter-dependencies.  What emerges as these become stronger is a system of influence, a powerful cultural shift that then greatly influences behaviors and defines accepted practices."
